Poreč is almost ready to rumble

The Poreč Major is fast approaching and the build-up to the third installment of the Croatian sensation is well under way.

As our pictures direct from the stunning location beside the Adriatic Sea, The Red Bull Beach Arena is taking shape.

Tens of thousands of fans will flock to witness the world’s best athletes go head-to-head for the title – including Croatian soccer star Ivan Perišić.

Can Germans Laboureur/Sude and Brazilian Olympic champs Alison/Bruno retain their titles? It promises to be a typically dramatic week of entertainment at the beach.

Off the court and in the stands, fans will also be treated to night matches for the very first time in the tournament’s history, while on Saturday and Sunday, a fireworks show put on by World Class Masters will end each evening session in style between 10.50pm and 11pm.
